Our Safety Policies

The safety of the children entrusted to us at Cub Corner is paramount. As such, Cub Corner takes all precautions necessary to safeguard our students.

Student Collection Policy

Upon registration, parents provide a list of family, friends, and emergency contacts authorized to pick up their children. Once an individual arrives to pick up a student, they will need to show their state-issued ID.A Cub Corner staff member will then verify the ID with the list of approved pickup individuals provided by the family. Every authorized visitor must sign the child in and out according to the time clock near the door.

Building Security

All doors and windows at Cub Corner are kept closed and locked to ensure the children's safety.
We execute regular building inspections to ensure that they remain secure.

Information security

All personal information provided to Cub Corner is stored safely in locked filing cabinets or filing boxes.
We follow our confidentiality policy and the data protection act.
All staff members are made fully aware of the confidentiality policy and the data protection act.

Staff

Per Louisiana law, and to ensure all children's safety at Cub Corner Preschool, we conduct a comprehensive federal and state background check on all staff members before their Cub Corner employment.
